Norfolkline offer ‘Redundancy Refund’
Norfolkline Irish Sea Ferry Services have announced a new initiative to encourage holiday makers to book with confidence.
As of Monday 30th March 2009, Norfolkline Irish Sea will provide a full refund to any customer that is forced to cancel their holiday plans due to redundancy.
Norfolkline, who operate a passenger service between Belfast or Dublin to Liverpool (Birkenhead) state that this initiative is in response to the current economic climate and the changes in consumer buying behaviour.
Diane Poole, General Manager of Passenger at Norfolkline Irish Sea commented;
“Our customers need to know that they can book in confidence. We at Norfolkline understand the pressures that families are under to plan the next short break or main family holiday despite financial constraints. While redundancy is a real issue facing our society we still need time away to recharge our batteries and it is important that you can plan this time away without the worry of losing money on your booking.”
The ferry company will refund any booking, made on or after Monday 30th March 2009, in which a member of the party has been made redundant before they travel, a letter from an employer, stating that the person has been made redundant must be forwarded to Norfolkline before a refund can be issued.
