Norfolkline voted "Shortsea/RoRo Operator of the Year" in the 2009 IFW awards

Norfolkline scooped the prestigous "Shortsea/RoRo Operator of the Year" at the 2009 IFW awards, beating of competition from the other nominees in the category: Containerships; DFDS Tor Line; Grimaldi; Stena Line; & Wallenius Wilhemsen Logistics.
International Freight Weekly (IFW) is Europe's leading multimodal newspaper for professionals involved in international freight transport and logistics. More than half of its 50,000 readership is made up of senior decision-makers from freight forwarding and logistics companies, with almost one third being shippers involved in import and export (manufacturers, retailers & wholesalers).
The "Shortsea/RoRo Operator of the Year" award was one of five awards that were voted on by readers of IFW, and Norfolkline receiving this award represents a strong vote of confidence from Norfolkline's customers & peers.
The awards, now in their 13th consecutive year, were held on October 15th at Chelsea Football Club in London (UK), and in attendance from Norfolkline were Thomas Woldbye (CEO), Andreas Teschl (Route Director - English Channel) and Wayne Bullen (Freight Sales Director).
Commenting on the evening, Thomas Woldbye said how he is proud of the organisation for achieving such recognition:
