Environmental policy

Our group has always supported initiatives that promote environmental responsibility.

This has involved a balanced and sustainable approach to long term economic growth and quality of life, while seeking solutions that help protect and restore the environment.

In recognition of this, our Environmental Policy is as follows:

"Norfolkline is committed to the protection of the environment and places high priority on environmental considerations in managing its business".

We will accomplish these commitments by:

• Minimising the environmental impact of our business though constant care - careful use of resources, optimisation of operations and handling of waste streams
• Continually striving for improvement in our environmental performance and pollution prevention across all our activities.

This involves source reduction efforts, environmental awareness and the application of environmentally friendly technologies.
